Collaborative Education Fund (CEF)
The OSMT Collaborative Education Fund (CEF) provides support and sponsorship for professional development initiatives that positively impact and enhance the skills and knowledge of medical laboratory professionals. Support from the CEF is available to organizations and groups by application to the OSMT Professional Development Committee.
A total funding pool of $4,000 ($1,000 each quarter) will be made available annually by the OSMT for events that are held in the province of Ontario. Every effort will be made to distribute the funding amongst the eight Districts of Ontario. The maximum funds available for each individual event will be $500.

Allied Health Professional Development Fund
HealthForceOntario provides financial support for Ontario’s allied health professionals through the Allied Health Professional Development Fund (AHPDF). Members of nine eligible allied health professions are able to apply for as much as $1,500 this funding year (April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018) in education grants for completed professional development courses, conferences, and workshops.
